Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers faced awkward silence at a Trump rally after a failed applause line targeting rival Abdul El-Sayed.
Michigan Senate candidate Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) heard nothing but crickets from a Trump rally crowd when he made a joke at the expense of his opponent, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed (D).
“And now, he’s accepted campaign donations from organizations, as I said, and even the literal spokesmen from the Muslim Brotherhood,” Rogers said. “I’ll tell you, as a former FBI agent, I can tell you, we would call that a clue.”
